The DFW Blues Scene Sampler project was begun in 2005 with the goal of capturing Dallas/Fort Worth blues bands performing one ORIGINAL song.  To date over 20 local bands have participated.  Originally, the video files were available for direct download from this site.  However as the quality of the youtube compression codec improved, all copies were moved over to youtube.  So far these videos have been collectively viewed over 120,000 times and many are linked over to the artist's websites.  If you are not familiar with the DFW blues scene, this project allows you to sample many different bands, via youtube, in one place.  This is a non-profit undertaking and all rights are ceded to the artists themselves.  The project is currently on hiatus due to sound and lighting problems in the remaining local clubs, but will resume shooting as soon as a suitible location is available.
